Archiving Blog Entries In a Fun Way

You might have heard that content is king so you’ve filled your blog with many quality posts. Not only should you be writing good content, but you should be filing it properly so others can easily access it. You can also archive it in a fun way where it brings your old posts more attention and entice a viewer to click on it to read. To get viewers to read more posts, you need to highlight them.
It’s pointless to write a bunch of content and post on your blog just to let it get buried as time goes by. Have pride in the posts you’ve created and display them in a way where readers can access in a comprehensive approach. If you make your archives easy to find, then visitors will more likely stay on your blog longer and read more. You should customize your archived content so it stands out more.
Archiving your pages does a lot of positive things for you. It will keep your content organized by de-cluttering your side bar with old links and help your viewers go through your site easier. Make sure your archived page is detailed so when users type in something in the search bar your blog post about it will pop up. Many times when users come to your blog they just read what’s on the first page, but if you add another archived section (say at the bottom of each post of 4 related blog posts), they’ll be more likely to click on it since it was organized and is relatable to what they’re already reading.
Keep in mind that a lot of people who read content on the internet are doing more of scanning than actual reading. So when they look at your archived list, make sure the headlines are short and concise so they know exactly what is in them if they click on it. If your titles are all very long, visitors won’t enjoy reading through it all to find what they’re looking for. So if you want your archives to be read after they’re posted, remember to keep titles concise, customize the archive bar, and make it easy to scan and make it searchable.
